The thumbnails below are from www.despair.com called "de-motivational posters". This is a great web-site, and gives and shows the consequences of being motivated or trying to motivate others. These (and many more) can be purchased in a variety of products, including full sized lithographs (high quality posters), mugs and calenders.

A carousel page is a sliding interface of thumbnails that each represent a page of content (image, text, HTML). The thumbnails are organized in a sliding window that can be shifted left or right to access all of the pages. The content can be almost anything. Pictures work nicely as a slideshow, but styled text and even raw HTML work just as well. Each carousel thumbnail can also display a title of what the thumbnail means.
The main drawback with carousel is that it tries to load all of the images to be displayed at the same time. This can increase the load time for the page if you have a lot of images or several large images. Other image display systems reduce the load time by only loading the images you select. However, if your images are small, or you use it to display a lot of information then it can make a stunning looking page.
Each carousel can have a different style. Many web-sites specialising in Rapidweaver products (see the links page) sell these either individually (for less than $10 or so each) or in bulk (which dramatically brings down the individual price).
